Crafting Vibrant Spaces: A Tale of Collaboration and Creativity.

Welcome to Group Projects!

With over 20 years of combined experience, we are a dedicated art and architecture collaborative based in North Carolina. At Group Projects, we specialize in transforming public spaces into vibrant hubs of creativity and community engagement.

Our portfolio includes projects like Luminary, Serenity Mosaic Column, and Activate, which showcase our ability to evoke curiosity, foster discovery, and enhance daily experiences. From concept to installation, we pride ourselves on our collaborative approach, working closely with stakeholders to bring their visions to life.

As artists, designers, and makers, we utilize both 2D and 3D methods to explore and describe our ideas, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in our designs. Inspired by the unique environment and culture of North Carolina, we strive to create artistic solutions that resonate with local communities.

We are excited about the possibility of partnering with you to bring your project to life. Explore our work and learn more about our services on our website at groupprojects.art. Let's create something extraordinary together.

Warm regards,

Mike Cincala

Master of Architecture, AIA Henry Adams Metal, Virginia Tech

I enjoy photography as a way of studying my surroundings. Even a rain puddle on a bare concrete slab, reflecting as the sun emerges from behind the clouds, will catch my eye, revealing a composition of light, shadow, proportion, rhythm, and color.

University of UNC Chapel Hill BFA. Studio Mayor /Cuerrent

As a mosaic artist, my goal is to create unique and beautiful pieces that combine functionality and art. I am drawn to the endless possibilities offered by this medium, and I love the way that different materials and colors can come together to create a cohesive whole.

Bachelor of Architecture, Virginia Tech

Outside of work, I’m likely to be playing or listening to music. I made this drawing of a banjo to better discover and understand the instrument, and in appreciation of the craft of making.
